Admission process
State Common Entrance Test has been done mandatory for admission to the Undergraduate Courses (Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Business Management) in Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and Dr.Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli in Maharashtra State from academic year 2018-19. However, JEE / NEET / AIEEA-UG (All India Entrance Examination Test for Admission- conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Reaserch, New Delhi) examinations will also be considered instead of MHT-CET. Admission to all undergraduate degree programmes under State Agriculture Universities shall be on the basis of marks obtained in CET conducted by competent authority [MHT-CET / JEE / NEET / AIEEA-UG] and the other weightages will be as per the existing provisions / rules of MCAER, Pune.
Out of the total seats, 80% are filled up by MCAER, Pune on merit basis, rest of 20% are filled through management quota. For detail updates regarding fees please refer MCAER, Pune website. The details regarding management seats are available with the principal of concerned college.

The intake capacity of college for first year Agriculture is 180. Out of the total seats 80% are filled by MPKV, Rahuri and MCAER, Pune on the merit basis, rest 20% are filled through Management Quota. The details regarding management seats are available with principal of the college.
